“Cents for St. Susan’s” Drive Raises $19,465 in Contributions

The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities (BPU) 20th annual Cents for St. Susan’s campaign finished its two-month effort with a total of $19,465 raised for the local soup kitchen. That brings the 20-year total of funds raised by the community during the BPU’s “Cents for St. Susan’s” campaigns to $234,956.39.

Major sponsors and volunteers met recently at St. Susan Center to reveal the amount raised through the community fund drive.

BPU and St. Susan Center personnel were on hand for the announcement, to thank major sponsors and volunteers including KeyBank at the $2,000 level; Kwik-Fill and Judy and Steve McAllaster at the $1,000 level; Alfie’s Restaurant, Boyles Motor Sales, Century 21/Turner Brokers, Chautauqua Chemicals Co., Inc., Falconer Printing and Design, Inc., FreedMaxick Accountants, Heritage Ministries, The Legend Group with Lou Deppas, National Fuel, Northwest Bank, Shults Auto Group, Slone-Melhuish Insurance, Weinberg Financial Group, and Wright Wright and Hampton Attorneys at the $500 level.
