Social Distancing and Window Visits

As a healthcare provider, Heritage and its affiliates would like to encourage you to help “flatten the curve” by staying at home as much as possible and practicing good social distancing. When going out for essentials such as groceries and medications, don’t take the whole family. Doing so exponentially increase the threat of the spread. And please, please refrain from gathering in large groups for any reason. Our staff and residents appreciate your support and thank you for your cooperation.

During these difficult times, we recognize that there must be added stress on those of you who are no longer regularly able to visit your loved ones in our communities. Heritage would like to remind family members that we stand ready to assist you with phone calls and virtual visits. “Window visits” can also be arranged at most of our skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. ALL of these visits should be scheduled by calling the main number of the appropriate facility. In the case of “window visits” no more than one household should visit at a time, and windows must remain closed during the visit. Of course your pets are welcome too! Due to obvious demand, we respectfully request these visits be limited to one per day.

In accordance with local, state, and federal stay at home guidelines, we will be forced to report any large groups that may be on our property and are not practicing appropriate social distancing to the local authorities.
